The Faculty of Human Medicine and the Research Institute in Biomedical Sciences of the University Ricardo Palma has been participating as Headquarters of the Student Mobility Program of the Peruvian Network of Student Teaching Mobility in Medicine REPEMIDE, constituted by the Peruvian Association of Faculties of Medicine ASPEFAM. We were pilot center in 2017-2018, receiving medical students from various universities of the country, with the "Health Research Internship", and in the 2018-2019 we received 4 medical students selected from Peruvian universities.

OBJETIVE
Contribute to the achievement of the competencies established in the graduation profile, promoting and facilitating the development of experiences in other faculties of medicine members of ASPEFAM, through the development of internships.

PARTICIPANTS
Regular students who, as of October 15 of each year, have passed the cycles prior to the offered internship in a member faculty of ASPEFAM. Only participants over 18 years old will be admitted.

BENEFITS
The Peruvian Association of Faculties of Medicine will grant a scholarship to those students, participants of the program, to move to a different city from their main. Participation in an internship in charge of a tutor designated by the receiving faculty, developing academic activities leading to the achievement of established competences • At the end of the internship, the student will receive an official certification of the activities carried out, issued by ASPEFAM which must be delivered within 30 days after the term of the internship. The certification must contain the credit provided by the sponsoring faculties The information and the inscriptions are given through the Platform of the Network (www.aspefam.or.pe/redmm).

Development of skills and activities during the internship.
Medical students who complete their research internship at the Research Institute in Biomedical Sciences of the Ricardo Palma University, acquire real competences in the process of investigation. They participate in theoretical activities and research practices, in a personalized way, they know and use research tools, they are integrated into lines of research in development, they elaborate systematic searches and become familiar with the biostatistical programs. They participate in experiences in basic research in animal models, witness the thesis process in human medicine and develop final research products for start scientific production with publications. In addition, a collaboration network is created for future educational and research activities.

Importance and Impact:
Hosting research internships in health organized by ASPEFAM, report multiple benefits. Generates exchange of experiences with various faculties of the country, increases the visibility of the Ricardo Palma University, contributes to positioning and dissemination of research that performs the INICIB, motivates our students of medicine to participate in these experiences and open doors to future teacher exchanges and to the generation of networks of educational collaboration and research to national and international level.
It has been satisfactory to receive feedback from the students from other universities in the country, it has been motivated them and strengthen their interest in research, see your enthusiasm in the various activities and reach your final products established, feeds our university vocation and generates greater commitment to continuing working so that together we can contribute to the acquisition of skills in the discharge profile of medical students of the country.
