The corpora which have enriched this discussion, have arisen as analytical positions from the reading of varied and specialized texts, where it is sought to converge on a valid and systematic theory that threaded the methodology of architectural criticism as it is. Thus, an interpretative exercise is used based on the formulation of critical assessments regarding specific architectural projects, where the critical object and author’s discursive nature are sustained, within a structural configuration, respecting as much as possible, a Historical loyalty scheme, a simultaneous theoretical articulation, the conceptual consistency of the architectural experience within a perceptive-sensitive margin and finally a concomitant relationship with the social and architectural imaginary which they are part of.
2020-09-20T00:00:00-05:00Copyright (c) 0 https://revistas.urp.edu.pe/index.php/PedagogiaArquitectura/article/view/3286Virtuality and crisis of representation in the academic narrative of the Architecture project2021-05-12T19:37:11-05:00Gonzalo Chong Pascualpublicacionesfau@urp.edu.pe
The academic discourse related to virtuality limits its scope to the technical sphere, reducing problems given by the adoption of digital representation systems to the capacity they hold to emulate the sensitive properties of analogue instruments. Therefore, this article examines the role of virtuality as a mediator of an epistemic change process in the project activity, which is promoting to pass from a philosophy centered on the teaching of architecture as a drill to its transition as a process of creation based on the simulation of virtual worlds.
2020-09-20T00:00:00-05:00Copyright (c) 0 https://revistas.urp.edu.pe/index.php/PedagogiaArquitectura/article/view/3287The Design Concept and the Andean Cosmovision in team synergies2021-05-12T19:37:11-05:00Trinidad Guerra Jimenopublicacionesfau@urp.edu.pe
An enriching academic experience, based on three axes: the Design concept as a starting point and as a research exercise, to strengthen skills in architecture students to reflect in a conceptualize way in their proposals, content argued within the design process; the axis of the Andean Cosmovision as a pretext of
significance in its design arguments, in addition to strengthening the National Identity and internalization of Common Good precepts such as the Ayni and the mutual aid, to enhance citizenship competence; and the axis of holism as a common denominator that integrates the other two in a broad view that makes us
see beyond the strictly utilitarian and frequent or the merely scientific one.
2020-09-20T00:00:00-05:00Copyright (c) 0 https://revistas.urp.edu.pe/index.php/PedagogiaArquitectura/article/view/3288Instrumental skills to develop architectonical projects in architectural colleges in Peru since 1980 to 20182021-05-12T19:37:11-05:00Walter Morales Llanospublicacionesfau@urp.edu.pe
Repeatedly, we have witnessed discussions at schools about the quality and effectiveness of the way to face the representation and development of the architectural project. This essay aims to run out this discussion on the artisan modality versus the digital modality as a support to develop projects and as part of future architects’ training. In this sense, we will outline the pros and cons of both positions on the subject, as well as its implications both in the academic and in the labor world.
2020-09-20T00:00:00-05:00Copyright (c) 2020 P&A. Even though, its use is constantly proposed as a first approach to the student in the career, the reflection about the variety of typologies that it can present is reduced. Thus,
based on the case studies analysis, it is highlighted the essential aspects in architecture that each esquisse addresses, as well as the formats and most proposed uses in its elaboration in order to articulate the design studio contents. Finally, its capacity to evaluate an initial studio is confirmed.
2020-09-20T00:00:00-05:00Copyright (c) 2020 https://revistas.urp.edu.pe/index.php/PedagogiaArquitectura/article/view/3290Learning to map the city: Art and perception2021-05-12T19:37:11-05:00Alexander Gálvez Nietopublicacionesfau@urp.edu.pe
This investigation assumes perception as the starting point to analyze the urban image, studying in this way the city and its components. Based on the methodology of mental maps and the art of maps designed by Paula Scher, in the Graphic Design course of the Architecture and Urbanism Faculty, the representation of the students’ district urban perception through color and significant visual elements was explored. The results showed visual impact, contrast, originality, identification of individual and group urban perceptions, and urban information such as dangerous areas, recreational areas and other significant areas.
2020-09-20T00:00:00-05:00Copyright (c) 2020 https://revistas.urp.edu.pe/index.php/PedagogiaArquitectura/article/view/3291Design and construction of a geodetic dome of frequency 3, a teaching and construction experience with community participation2021-05-12T19:37:11-05:00Lyanne Saldaña Villacortapublicacionesfau@urp.edu.peAlfredo Mujica Yépezpublicacionesfau@urp.edu.pe
This article is about the training and construction of a 3 frequency geodesic dome, to be used as a play module for children from Institución Educativa Inicial 105 (Preschool Institution) in San Antonio del Rio Mayo Small town in the Province of Lamas, San Martín Department, a 1/10 scale model was previously built, in order to have it as a guide to lead the dome construction process.
2020-09-20T00:00:00-05:00Copyright (c) 0
