Abstract

The situati on that Perú has been experiencing since 2020 is not alien to Peruvian history, indeed, not so long ago the Inca country had to face an epidemic caused by the colera disease. The acti ons of the Peruvian government in the 1990’s, which
is when cholera arrived in Perú, was far from exemplary, acti ons with a lot of controversy, which has a certain similarity to how the government of Martí n Vizcarra acted when fi ghti ng COVID-19. This article will analyze a comparison when it comes to seeing the common aspects and those that diff erenti ate them in the struggles
against cholera and COVID.19 in Perú.
