The former Palace of the Exhibition is one of the most significant architectural works in the city of Lima. Over the years, the building has undergone many changes, proving its flexibility. It has preserved the essential: its iron columns and the combination of diffe- rent materials in its walls, such as brick on the first level and thatch on the second. In addition to its value as an architectural object, the Lima Art Museum is, in the present, an important space for cultural dissemination in the city. Its proximity to the Museum of Italian Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Lima opens the opportunity to manage the Exhibition Park as a cluster of museums.
