Abstract

The article analyzes, from a gender perspective, the social relations established by women from the popular sectors of Lima in the domestic, private and public spaces. The social practices of popular women in the life of the home are exposed, describes the construction of their own space and examines their participation in the work and popular organizations.

Magíster, Licenciada y Bachiller, en Sociología por la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. Docente Asociada de la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales de la Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal. Ha sido directora del Departamento Académico de Sociología de la Universidad Villarreal desde el 2016 al 2019. También se desempeñó como Docente en La Universidad Ricardo Palma. Sus últimas investigaciones se orientan, hacia las organizaciones de mujeres en los sectores populares de Lima.
