Abstract

Resumen
Este artículo diverge sobre la tendencia a considerar la peruanidad como caracterizada por la ociosidad de la gente, la poca creatividad, así como un trasfondo depresivo que consideramos es un enfoque criollo aristocratizante. En contraparte, este ensayo plantea que el peruano promedio es un personaje feliz, sumamente trabajador, muy creativo, fuerte físicamente, de amplias familias y espíritu patriarcal. La peruanidad se forja en la historia.

Abstract
Differing with the aristocratic and creole conception of peruanidad that depicts Peruvian people as idle, unimaginative and depressed, this paper states that an average Peruvian person is cheerful, hardworking, creative, physically strong, with large families and a patriarchal spirit. Either way, we build our Peruvian personality throughout history.
