Abstract

The purpose of this article is to identify the level of digital competence of translation and interpreting teachers at a Peruvian university. It was a descriptive research since it identified the different levels of digital competence of teachers in the translation and interpreting career of a Peruvian university. On the other hand, this research was of non-experimental design since only the behavior of the study phenomenon was observed without manipulating the digital competence variable. Finally, a questionnaire was applied to a sample of 45 teachers of translation and interpretation at a Peruvian university. The levels of digital competence found in these teachers were: novice 33.33%, explorer 22.22%, integrator 11.11%, expert 15.56%, leader 11.11% and pioneer 6.67%.
