This academic work delves into the concept of Social Justice under Nancy Fraser's theory. The paper begins with the presentation of the problem, research questions, objectives, and hypotheses. Following this, it explores the emergence and evolution of the Social and Liberal State, along with historical background, to then focus on Nancy Fraser's transformative impact on Social Justice by examining the three dimensions she establishes: recognition, redistribution, and representation.
Within this analysis, Equality of Opportunities is examined as the foundation of Social Justice, considering its impact on the dimensions of redistribution, recognition, and representation. However, this is contrasted when questioning the "contribution" of Equality of Opportunities through critical perspectives and analyses based on Fraser's theory. The paper also presents a series of arguments suggesting a return to the Welfare State as a response to contemporary challenges. In the final part of the work, the findings are synthesized, and a reevaluation of traditional approaches is proposed.
