LA VISIÓN DEL MATRIMONIO EN EL REFRANERO ESPAÑOL

Abstract

In this article we try to reconstruct the linguistic and cultural image of the marriage in Spanish proverbs. According to the methods of etnolinguistics we remember basic concepts of the linguistic image of the world. After that, we describe the values and defects of the marriage. Our object is to reconstruct the vision of the marriage in collective consciousness, descri­be its principal characteristics, connotations and associations reflected i n the language. We try to discover what kind of vocabulary and expressions create the linguistic image of the part of reality called marriage.
