Global business management

The study of business management in the context of a globalized world is the guiding axis of this line of research. Knowledge is generated about the challenges of business management in a highly competitive environment. Authors can submit articles on the subject related to: a) Transformational leadership, Communication b) Human resources management c) Information technologies d) Quality management.

Global business

The insertion of companies in the global economy is essential for their growth. This line of research studies the problems and challenges of globalization for entrepreneurs as well as their internationalization strategies. The knowledge developed in this line of research is expected to help entrepreneurs to perform successfully in a global economy. Authors can submit articles on the subjects related to: a) Global trade b) Marketing in a globalized environment c) Logistics and global operations d) Global corporate finance and financial risk management e) Global financial markets f) Global strategic planning.

Small and micro enterprises in a globalized world

This line of research aims to study external and internal barriers that prevent small and micro businesses from developing successfully. It should be concretized in proposals that aim to increase the participation of this venture globally. Authors may submit articles on the subject related to a) Competitiveness of small and micro enterprises in a globalized environment b) The internationalization of small and micro enterprises c) Entrepreneurship and strategic innovation in a highly competitive and global context.

Sustainable development and global corporate social responsibility

The objective of this line of research is to contribute to sustainable development, socially and ecologically responsible business management within a global context. It also seeks to generate knowledge to develop alternative businesses to the use of non-renewable natural resources. Authors can submit articles on the subjects related to: a) Global social corporate responsibility b) Global business ethics c) Eco businesses with global projection d) Environmental conflicts and global business management.

Content

Editor's Responsibility

The articles are evaluated by the Editorial Committee with advice from at least two external reviewers and at most three, who are competent in the subject of the manuscript. Those ultimately responsible for decisions on manuscripts are the responsibility of the Editorial Committee.

Peer Evaluation Process

Articles published by the GLOBAL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION JOURNAL are sometimes an evaluation process:

Evaluation of the standards of the journal: It starts when you receive the articles. It is evaluated in the first instance by the Editorial Team who review whether the articles comply with the Instructions for Authors, the review is applied through the turnitin anti-plagiarism software. Articles that do not meet the requirements of the Author Instructions could be rejected.

Peer review: The works received will sometimes be an evaluation process by anonymous reviewers (peer review). The reviewers will be selected for their experience and knowledge on the subject to which the work under evaluation refers. The reviewer is requested to evaluate the work in accordance with international standards and quality criteria for scientific publications.

The reviewers have knowledge of the subject, have no conflicts of interest, conduct research on the subject of review, act with responsibility and discretion in the evaluation.

The reviewers receive the standards and recommendations for the review. The reviewers are not paid. The Editorial Committee selects the reviewers. The type of review is double blind, that is, both the author and the reviewer remain anonymous.

Note: The reviewers or recommendations issued suggestions and recommendations to improve the manuscript.

The evaluation of the evaluators qualifies the work as:

  • Accepted
  • Accepted with observations
  • Rejected

REFUSAL OF RESPONSIBILITY

The journal is not responsible for the opinions expressed by the authors. The content of the articles is the sole responsibility of the authors and does not reflect the opinion of the journal.

FREQUENCY OF PUBLICATION

It is published twice a year.

OPEN ACCESS POLICY

The journal allows free and immediate access to its content based on the principle that free access of readers to research encourages greater global knowledge exchange.

AUTHORSHIP, ANTI-PLAGIARISM AND BAD BEHAVIOURS

The research that gives rise to the article must have been carried out ethically and responsibly.

Authors should show the results of their research clearly, honestly and without fabrication, falsification or improper manipulation of the data.

In the case of the original quantitative articles, the authors should strive to describe the methods used in the research clearly so that other researchers can confirm their findings.

The article submitted for publication must be original, not plagiarized and must not have been previously published in any other journal.

The authors assume collective responsibility for the work presented and published.

Authorship of publications should accurately reflect the contributions of individuals. The order in which they appear in the article is the order of contribution.

Sources of financing and conflicts of interest, if any, should be disclosed.

Everyone who participate in the editorial process of this journal: the author ( s ), the pair reviewers and the institution itself  represented by the editor, the editorial team.
