The "Revista de la Facultad de Medicina Humana" publishes medical , original research, and reviews on all aspects of clinical medicine and global health. They publish quarterly (January, April, July and October) and it is aims is to contribute to the scientific dissemination of current medical topics, with original and unpublished articles, related to the various specialties of the biomedical and public health area. It is also for any of the following subject areas: Public health, clinical sciences, surgical sciences, basic sciences, health economics / health management, research/innovation in medicine and medical education.

OPEN ACCESS
The "Revista de la Facultad de Medicina Humana" is open access, which uses a financing model that does not charge readers or their institutions for access. Users can read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles to use them for any other legal purpose. The journal does not charge the authors for the application, the evaluation process and the subsequent publication of the articles, following an editorial policy of free access (this journal can be consulted in the Open Journal System platform)
REVIEW PROCESS
The "Revista de la Facultad de Medicina Humana" uses the external peer review system under the double blind modality to guarantee the quality of the articles it publishes. This process will be in charge of prestigious specialists from national and international institutions, who are selected according to their experience in the respective subject, based mainly on publication indicators.
Original and original short articles, review articles, case reports and special articles will be evaluated by two or more external reviewers. Letters to the editor, in addition to the editorial team, may be evaluated by at least one external reviewer. Only those articles with favorable evaluations and that have resolved the comments sent are published. Likewise, in most cases, there is the support of peer experts in biostatistics and epidemiology who will focus on the methodological aspects of the studies. ANTIPLAGIO SYSTEM
All papers and articles before publication will be evaluated for similarity detection, generating a report on originality with the Turnitin® software application. Those articles that are selected for publication must have the approval of the anti-plagiarism system, according to international standards.
