The "Revista de la Facultad de Medicina Humana" publishes medical , original research, and reviews on all aspects of clinical medicine and global health. They publish quarterly (January, April, July and October) and it is aims is to contribute to the scientific dissemination of current medical topics, with original and unpublished articles, related to the various specialties of the biomedical and public health area. It is also for any of the following subject areas: Public health, clinical sciences, surgical sciences, basic sciences, health economics / health management, research/innovation in medicine and medical education.

The "Revista de la Facultad de Medicina Humana" is open access, which uses a financing model that does not charge readers or their institutions for access. Users can read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles to use them for any other legal purpose. The journal does not charge the authors for the application, the evaluation process and the subsequent publication of the articles, following an editorial policy of free access (this journal can be consulted in the Open Journal System platform)
The "Revista de la Facultad de Medicina Humana" of the Ricardo Palma University (Rev. Fac. Med. Hum.) uses the external peer review system to guarantee the quality of the articles it publishes. The original and short original articles are evaluated by two or more reviewers, who are selected according to their experience in the respective topic, based mainly on publication indicators. Only those articles with favorable evaluations and that have solved the sent observations are published. Likewise, in the majority of cases, the support of peer in biostatistics and epidemiology will be available, which will focus on the methodological aspects of the studies. (See Evaluation form for original articles). All authors must comply with the submission of signed forms.
All papers and articles before publication will be evaluated for similarity detection, generating a report on originality with the Turnitin® software application. Those articles that are selected for publication must have the approval of the anti-plagiarism system, according to international standards.
