The author rejects clericalism both in its ecclesiastical version as in the new civil version: both clericalisms forget that religious freedom is, above all, a citizer's fundamental right but that they leave it to the ocasional outline of the relationship between Church and State. He, therefore, delves deeper into the concept of “positive secularism” proposed by the Spanish Constitutional Court.
