Background: Air pollution and climate change are the biggest threats affecting human health around the world. The objective of this article is to determine how the envelope of a building can be improved in relation to indoor and outdoor air so that the owners can enjoy better health, well-being and comfort. The methodology is of a comparative descriptive level, citing studies on how to improve the envelope of a multifamily building. Some of the considerations are orientation, construction materials and mechanical ventilation alternatives. The methods and theories were applied to a specific case study, the multifamily project "El Alcazar" which is located in the district of Santiago de Surco. The results indicate that the apartments with the lowest solar incidence are those in triplex 01, with the most critical being floor 2 with 12.28% of its total area. Furthermore, the proliferation of mold is directly linked to solar incidence, affecting kitchens, bathrooms and entrances as they are the most closed spaces. The apartments have white interior colors and light tones, favoring the capture of natural light. Conclusions , the installation of mechanical ventilation will be necessary on the first floors of triplex apartments 01 and 07. |
5. Keywords and keywords
• Keywords comprise 5-12 terms that should be taken from the IEEE Thesaurus .
• It begins with a lowercase letter, is separated by a comma (,) and ends with a period.
Example:
Keywords : envelope, buildings, multi -family, indoor air quality, outdoor air quality , Health. Keywords : e nvelope, buildings, multifamily building, indoor air quality, outdoor air quality, heath. |
II) Content of the manuscript
• The articles must have the following structure:
a) Introduction (not considered a subtitle).
It presents the purpose, objectives and research problem, its importance and the current situation of the topic to be studied. It presents the contributions of other relevant research and will emphasize those related to the research objectives and hypotheses. b) Methodology. Explains the choice and design of the methodological tool used, as well as the population, the selected sample and the system chosen to have the units of analysis. It refers to the instrument chosen to capture the sample, ensuring scientific rigor and validity. If it is an original system, its characteristics are detailed. The objective is to ensure the replicability of the study. c) Results It presents the findings obtained, presented in a concise, precise, orderly manner, arranged in statistical terms if applicable. d) Discussion and Conclusions They are derived exclusively from the results and are a synthesis of them, prepared in a clear and brief manner. Recommendations for theory and professional practice, as well as suggestions for future research, can be developed. e) Conflict of interest It should be noted if there are conflicts of interest on the part of the author or authors. f) Ethical responsibility Published articles are subject to compliance with ethical principles. Articles accepted for publication, which present research results that include human beings, must present information on comprehensive compliance with ethical principles and informed consent. g) Authorship contribution Each author must specify precisely what their contribution has been in the research development process. h) Financing If the study has received financial support, the institution that provided said financing must be specified. i) References The sources consulted must follow the IEEE standard https://journals.ieeeauthorcenter.ieee.org/wp-content/uploads/sites/7/IEEE_Reference_Guide.pdf and must be from the last 10 years, in its different types of literature: book, book chapter, magazine article, article summary, research magazine article, dictionaries, conference papers, thesis, Internet pages, among others. h) Data of the author(s) and corresponding author • Name and surname • Affiliation • Brief profile of the author • ORCID • Indicate the corresponding author (*) i) Annexes (optional) It is optional, they are included only if they help readers understand the study, it must have consecutive numbering and a title.
