Abstract

This study has a descriptive, correlational, and comparative nature regarding the indicators of maladjusted behavior anxiety, depression and somatization and their relationship with fears, presented by a sample of the population of Lima, in conditions of confinement due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The study was carried out between July and August 2020, with a sample of 580 subjects residing in Lima. Given the confinement and pandemic conditions, a non-stratified snowball sampling was carried out through social networks. The instrument used was the Inventory of Behavioral Indicators during COVID-19. The four study variables were isolated from this instrument in the form of four scales: anxiety, depression, somatization, and fears. Maladjustment behavior levels were found, each indicator of maladjustment behavior was related to demographic-personal variables and the correlation between anxiety, depression and somatization with fears was established.
