Abstract

The possibility of being able to know and confi rm the importance of library spaces as valuable learning centers is a very important factor within the university campus. Being milestones and places of appropriation by the same students and as main places of knowledge, they are often set aside and in the Peruvian architectural sphere, they do no t exist. The education factor plays a very poor role in Peru, considering the alarming use of libraries fi gures. Based on specialized bibliography and empirical evidence of experiences in the cases of Pedro Zulen and Luis Jaime Cisneros university libraries, it is expected to contribute by an exercise of architectural critique to the part understanding of so particular space scope of the university libraries in Peru.
